Neighbourhood Plan for St Enoder Parish

The members of St Enoder Parish Council are presently out and about delivering an important survey to all properties within my local Parish – complete with a freepost envelope to make it easy for local residents to respond.

All completed questionnaires returned by Saturday 4th October will also be entered into a prize draw, with four lucky winners all receiving a prize of £50.

I am a member of a working group from the Council, which is working on a Neighbourhood Plan. This will agree a range of planning policies, for example, to identify what land should be safeguarded for the benefit of the community and to set out where future housing might be built.

This questionnaire is a vital stage in the preparation of a Neighbourhood Plan. All the responses will shape the document so that it fully reflects the views of local people. This is an important survey and we hope that local residents will take the time to complete the questionnaire and let us know what they think.

Three consultation events are also planned for September, which will allow local people the opportunity to meet members of the steering group and to give further information about what you want for St Enoder Parish.

The events are as follows:

Wednesday 17th September – Summercourt New Memorial Hall: 2.00 – 8.00
Monday 22nd September –- Indian Queens Victory Hall: 2.00 – 8.00
Tuesday 30th September – Fraddon Village Hall: 2.00 – 7.00
